Infinite Love

A willingness to modify our beliefs in the face of new evidence and reasoning is critical to ensuring a common world for us all. To get there, we must understand what beliefs are, how they influence us, and our responsibilities regarding them.

Crime is the failure of society to provide the support people need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. This failure is driven by our implicit acceptance of an exceedingly harmful ideology—one we must understand and shed for the betterment of all.

Honesty is critical to relationships — whether we're talking about romantic relationships, parental relationships, or friendships. Lying, however small, sets you up for an inevitable break in trust and inhibits growth in relationships, while honesty creates an unbreakable trust and allows people to have the best understanding of one another. This is why it's important to be honest, open, and direct in all areas of your life, except perhaps in rare cases where lying is the only way to protect yourself or others from harm.

In this incohesive mess of an episode I attempt to answer some of the common questions I get regarding our vision, especially for the community we plan to build. I rehash how many of the problems we (humanity) face — especially wage slavery, along with many of the burdens and inefficiencies of modern life — can be solved almost immediately in our own communities; I discuss questions about labor and how necessary it is for a functioning society; and I discuss how the community will make money to pay for things we need to buy from the rest of the world. I also talk about how the drive for money creates lots of problems, about how the best thing you can do to help yourself is help others (egoistic altruism), and about just how everyone's lives — even billionaires — would be vastly improved in the community I propose.
