Capitalism: where it's okay to bet on people's failures — and in fact subtly encourage them.
Notice first of all the ".99" on all prices, a common deception, but also notice the $15.99/month subscription is less than the 30-day one-time payment of $19.99 for the same amount of time. This is because they know people will want to save a few extra dollars with the subscription in the hopes they will cancel after the first month before getting charged twice; however, invariably many people will fail to cancel it on time and will end up paying at least 2 months, and so this company will make more money by relying on people's failure to cancel on time...
